Tup Tup Palace is hosting A Night of Fashion in aid of Show Racism the Red Card and the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust this Thursday 2nd August at 7:30pm.
This exciting event features a catwalk show, magician, live music and charity raffle. It is set to be a showcase of North East talent, coming together with a message of unity.
Guest of honour Doreen Lawrence will be joined by other influential figures from across the North East for an evening of fashion and entertainment as well as the launch of a limited edition anti-racism T-shirt range.
All proceeds from the evening will be shared between Show Racism the Red Card and the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust.
Ged Grebby, Chief Executive of Show Racism the Red Card said:
"Doreen Lawrence is truly an inspiration to all of us. It is fantastic that she is visiting our region and that so many local organisations have united to play their part in this fundraising event. All of the proceeds will help us to continue in our anti-racism work across the North East and beyond, and will support the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust in the work they do to help young people from disadvantaged communities to realise their potential."
"I am hugely grateful to the businesses who have come together to organise A Night of Fashion - it is overwhelming the support they have offered and the number of people wanting to be involved. This is a clear reflection of the respect and admiration that Doreen holds."
The event takes place at Tup Tup Palace, Thursday 2nd August at 7:30pm. Tickets are available for £10 from www.theredcard.org/tickets or in person from Machine Lad (Grey Street) or I AM Models (Carliol Square).

Ms Lawrence's dedication to honouring her son's legacy is truly inspirational and we are delighted to support an event which raises awareness of such an important issue."
