Court of Protection Paralegal
Sehrish joined Simpson Millar in February 2020 as a Paralegal in the Court of Protection team.
She used to work for the Office of the Public Guardian and has in-depth knowledge of Lasting Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection deputyship matters (mainly Property and Financial Affairs).
Her role at Simpson Millar is heavily based around assisting Court-appointed Deputies with the general management of Deputyship caseload. She also handles conduct of Trust files, which have resulted from Personal Injury claims, and is experienced in drafting and executing Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney documents.
She graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a Law degree, Masters in Law, and a Diploma in the Legal Practice Course. She is also currently a graduate of CILEx (GCILEx), and will be qualified as a Private Client Lawyer, specialising in Court of Protection matters, by next year.
Sehrish is also a make-up artist and occasionally takes bookings when she is free. She also enjoys shopping and photography.
