Medical Negligence Paralegal
Agnieszka joined Simpson Millar in July 2017, and currently works as a Paralegal in our Kingston-upon-Thames office.
She had previously worked in the Employment Law department, where she helped Partner and Head of Employment Aneil Balgobin with various cases for both businesses and individuals.
Now working under the supervision of Partner Geoffrey Simpson-Scott, she helps bring forward high-value and complex Clinical and Medical Negligence claims cases involving the most severe injuries.
Agnieszka is also a Fee Earner and her own caseload includes a variety of claims such as retained placenta, still birth and short-life cases, obstetrics and gynaecology claims, sub-catastrophic spinal injury claims, late cancer diagnosis, Primary Care negligence, pre-hospital and A&E negligence, GP claims, orthopaedic, an ENT and dental claims.
Before joining Simpson Millar, she worked as a Paralegal in another national law firm where she ran her own contentious and non-contentious caseload.
After finishing her Master’s degree studies in Civil Law in Poland, Agnieszka earned a commendation in her Graduate Diploma in Law at London South Bank University. She then completed the Legal Practice Course – the last step to qualifying as a Solicitor – with BPP Law School in 2016.
Agnieszka hopes to become a fully-qualified Solicitor, and is passionate advocate for getting justice and supporting the rights of people who have been affected by substandard medical care.
She is fluent in English and Polish.
