Worker's Occupier Liability case concludes with £3,000 compensation

The client involved in this case was employed as a temporary worker going to people's houses and reading their utility meters.

Leg Injury Personal Injury

When our client's accident happened he was going into the defendant's basement to read the meter. He tripped over the cluttered floor of the basement and fell forwards and landed heavily on the stairs. He injured his leg.

We issued a claim against the owner of the property where the accident occurred as it was the condition of the basement that had led to the accident occurring. The defendant denied responsibility for the accident and even denied that the accident occurred. Our client was hesitant to proceed with the claim because of the denied liability however we pushed forward for a successful outcome.

£3,000 compensation was negotiated and awarded to our client in relation to his personal injury claim.
