Julie Robertson is working Pro Bono for one week
Our contribution to the week will come from our brand new Motoring Offences team, spearheaded by highly experienced partner Julie Robertson. Julie will be offering 45 minute appointments, completely free of charge.

What Can You Get?

Pro bono is from an old Latin phrase, 'Pro bono publico', which simply means 'for the public good'. It is not the same as legal aid, which is funded by the state. Pro bono work is carried out by legal professionals who volunteer their time to carry out specific types of work free of charge, without being reimbursed by the state or anyone else.

Simpson Millar LLP has frequently campaigned for access to justice, and as part of this has decided to showcase the new Motoring Offences team. The team is led by Julie Robertson, who brings many years of experience to the role, having set up and run a number of road traffic departments at other major law firms.

What are Simpson Millar LLP Offering for Free?

Julie Robertson is taking appointments for one to one advice sessions, lasting 45 minutes each, in person in Manchester, or nationally over the telephone. The appointments need to be limited to this amount of time in order to help as many people as possible. To get the most out of the advice, you can send in any documents that are relevant to your problem in advance.
