Portable loo victim receives over £4000 in Compensation
We recently helped a client claim compensation following an accident at work
where he suffered an ankle injury.
Our client was exiting a portable loo when he fell over a pallet that was being used as a step. He sustained a strained ankle ligament which took 11 months to fully recover
Lisa Sheldon, Personal Injury Solicitor at Manchester based Simpson Millar said: "Although there were considerable risks on evidence we persuaded council to accept the claim on a CFA basis there after issued proceedings."
"We faced challenges from the outset when the defendant's denied firstly that our client worked for them and also liability for the accident. Eventually after further negotiations and medical evidence a part 36 offer was made and we successfully concluded the matter before trial."
Our client received over £4,000 in compensation
for his injuries.Useful Links
