Dated:

We recently acted for Mr Cole in bringing a personal injury claim following a slipping accident in a shop.

Mr Cole was shopping in store on 26 July 2010 when he slipped on a liquid substance on the floor of a shopping isle. He sustained a lower back injury as a result of the fall.

Slipping Accident Back Injury Compensation ClaimWe were instructed by Mr Cole to pursue a personal injury claim against the store owners in light of his injuries as under section 2(2) of the Occupiers Liability Act 1957 whereby you have a duty of care to ensure the safety of all members of the public visiting your premises. All isles should be kept in a clean state at all times and any potential hazards should have warning signs in order to alert visitors to the store of any potential risk.

Emma Roberts, Personal Injury Claims specialist said: "The claim was initiated on Mr Cole's behalf and the settlement figure we obtained for him was much higher than he expected. We were able to negotiate an increase following the initial offer we received from the store owners insurers."

"We managed to secure Mr Cole £4,000 in compensation for his back injury."

Mr Cole commented: "I received fantastic service from the beginning to the end of my personal injury claim."
