£3,500 Compensation Awarded for Personal Injury Claim at UK Holiday Park
We recently assisted a client in gaining compensation for their injuries sustained in an accident whilst on holiday in the UK
Our client suffered injuries to the wrist
, including a black eye, after tripping on an uneven surface at a holiday park
within the UK. He received £3,500 compensation
when he pursued his personal injury claim.
The trip resulted in our client suffering soft tissue damage to his wrist, requiring him to wear a splint. The injury to the wrist resulted in a permanent degree of limitation in the extension of his wrist, but caused no functional limitations. He also suffered pain in the area of his ribs for 2 weeks.
We issued a personal injury claim
on our client's behalf as the holiday park had failed to provide a safe environment for customers and as such were in breach of their duty of care to people on their premises.
Our client did not need any ongoing treatment and the holiday park admitted liability for the accident on the basis that our client accept 15% of responsibility as well. Alison Mills, Personal Injury Claims team
said: "We believe our client received the correct level of compensation for the injuries he sustained in this accident."
