All members of the British Air Line Pilots Association have access to a free Legal and Emergency Helpline run by Simpson Millar LLP.

The legal helpline provides advice and assistance on a whole range of legal queries including divorce, personal injury, disputes over boundaries, motoring offences and just about anything else you can think of.
Members of BALPA should note that all employment law issues will be dealt with by BALPA themselves; we cannot generally deal with any such queries and will usually refer you back to your Principal Negotiator or BALPA headquarters.

Despite everyone's efforts, any pilot may find themselves in an emergency situation and BALPA can help.
