Mr G was exposed to asbestos whilst employed by a large chemical manufacturing company
in the mid-1960s to 1970s. He was exposed to asbestos as a consequence of works
being carried out by fitters/laggers who were removing and replacing asbestos insulation
from pipe work.
41 years later, Mr G started to experience pains in the side of his chest. His GP
referred him to a chest physician and following a chest x-ray and CT scan, Mr G
was diagnosed with mesothelioma.
Mr G instructed us so we were able to trace the insurance company
for his former employers (since gone into liquidation). We then swiftly obtained an
admission of liability from the insurance company despite their being limited information
on which to act.
