Simpson Millar LLP consists of 30 partners, 10 Associates, 2 Consultants, and
128 fee earners along with 121 support staff. Managing
Partner, Peter Watson, is responsible for the day-to-day running of
the firm and is supported by the Management Committee
and Equity Partners of the business.

Developing and maintaining client relationships. Ensuring our continued delivery of excellent client service to the Trade Unions and their members.
Career:
Allison Chatto joined Simpson Millar LLP as part of our acquisition of AP Law Associates in February 2009 and was made an Associate of the firm in July 2012.
The first 15 years of Allison’s career was spent dealing with personal injury claims and she has experience of dealing with many different trade unions. Allison was a GMB trade union representative in her workplace from 1994-1997 and is passionate about the trade union movement. Allison has been appointed to the TUC Northern Asbestos Support Group Management Group. She works closely with many charity groups and organisations and is an honorary member of FACT (Fighting All Cancers Together).
Allison is interested in local politics and is an elected member for Gateshead Council (Local Councillor). She is a member of the Labour Party, GMB and the CWU.
Interests:
Being a full time working mum and local politician means there is very little spare time but Allison enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as spending time in the gym and generally trying to keep fit. She is a keen Newcastle United supporter and attends St James’ Park as often as she can.
