Career:
Ben Gent was recruited at partner level from Ashton Morton Slack in Sheffield. With over 12 years experience in clinical negligence – gained at both a national UK practice and as head of medical negligence at an Australian firm.
Ben is a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel. He has previously been recommended for his commitment to client care, and a willingness to fight difficult cases.
Career highlights include the decision of the Australian High Court in Melchior v Cattanach and a series of successful judicial review applications providing access to high cost treatments.
Ben has strong links with Headway the brain injury charity as committee member and fundraiser, is a member of the Spinal Injuries Association Solicitors Panel and a Panel solicitor for the Child Brain Injuries Trust.
