Career:
Head of Simpson Millar’s International Holiday & Travel Law Division and an Associate of the firm Nick qualified attaining a 1st Class LLB Honours Degree in Law.
A member of the Travel and Tourism Lawyers Association (TATLA) his specialism is acting for clients who sustain injury or suffer illness abroad. He is regularly instructed by clients in group litigation claims against tour operators and by clients injured during cruises and onboard aircrafts.
His work entails complex issues dealing with conflicts of laws and jurisdiction.
Nick’s background as a Defendant lawyer with a prominent tour operator gives him an advantage. His understanding of tour operating means he instantly identifies issues central to securing successful outcomes for his clients.
Career History:
After 7 years practising as a Defendant Lawyer for the tour operator MyTravel (now Thomas Cook), whose brands included Airtours, Going Places and Direct Holidays Nick changed side’s joining Pannone LLP as a Claimant Travel Lawyer where he spent 4 years before joining Simpson Millar's highly successful and respected Holiday Travel Law Division.
Interests:
In his spare time Nick can be found at Blackburn College where he is a part-time Law Lecturer.
