Career:

Aneil is a well-rounded Employment Lawyer with over 15 years’ PQE.

He grew up in the West Country, then moved to East London as a teen and has spent all his working life in London (a city he is passionate about), currently residing near Canary Wharf.

After completing his Training Contract at a Firm in North London, he joined a Firm in the City rising to Partner and then Director before joining Simpson Millar as a Partner in May 2016.  He was recently promoted to Head of Department in April 2017.

Aneil has built excellent client relationships and has a proven track record in delivering results for clients throughout his career. He has been described as an “accomplished communicator” and regularly features in the media (Sky News, Talk Radio, The Daily Mirror, The Independent, FHM) discussing Employment Law topics.

Over the years, Aneil has acted for the entire spectrum of Employment Law clients, but now largely undertakes work for progressive companies and senior executives. He has also developed particular expertise in the area of Restrictive Covenants/Post-Termination Obligations.

Aneil is recommended in the Legal 500 United Kingdom 2016 edition for his work in the employment sector.

Interests:

Aneil’s many interests include football, cricket, running half-marathons, discovering new restaurants and cuisines, visiting art galleries, attending music and comedy gigs, house music, animal conservation and travelling.
