Pleural Plaques Bill makes progress in Westminster

The Damages (Asbestos-Related Conditions) Bill was debated in Westminster on Friday 24 April 2009 and has now been passed to a committee of cross-party MPs.
The MPs will look at the Bill in detail and propose any amendments they feel necessary.
It should be noted that the Bill is still far from becoming law but it is encouraging that it has made it to the committee stage.
