National law firm Simpson Millar LLP recently took part in one of the biggest social and sporting events in the professional services calendar: The London Legal Walk.
The team from the firm’s Wimbledon office completed the 10km walk on 21 May, along with 6,000 other participants.

The London Legal Walk is an annual event for solicitors, judges, support staff and other members of the legal profession to get their trainers on and help raise money for good causes.
The event raised an estimated £500,000, with the Wimbledon team contributing more than £500 for the London Legal Support Trust – a charity that supports the work of voluntary legal centres in social welfare law.
Emma Dickinson, solicitor at Simpson Millar said: "The event enjoyed an amazing atmosphere and it was fun to see London’s legal scene take on the city in a less formal manner."
"Access to justice is one of the cornerstones in our society yet a growing number of people find it out of reach when they desperately need it. I hope that our efforts this weekend will go some way in helping the most vulnerable in our society access help, advice and justice."
The walk kicked off at the Royal Courts of Justice in the Strand, continued along the Thames and finished up at the Law Society.
"The weather was perfect; just cool enough to keep everyone on their toes and upbeat," said Emma. "This is just one of a number of charitable events we’ll be taking part in this year."
