Little Hiccups Fundraising Ball 2015

Dated:

A Leeds based support group for parents with children who have special needs is to host its annual Fundraising ball on Saturday 21st November 2015 – and Simpson Millar are delighted to be taking part.

The product of founder Linsay Medica’s vision to bring families with disabled children together to share their experiences, make friends, and support one another - the Ball, which was first hosted five years ago promises to be a night filled with food, wine, and exclusive auction items.

The night will also be host to local talent; Bethany Hale will return to the main stage and will perform free of charge to help them to raise money for good causes. At just 16 years of age, she has already raised over £30,000 and set up her own charity Bethany's Smile - which aims is to build Smile Cottage, a holiday home for families of children with high care needs.

Simpson Millar are immensely proud to be able to sponsor the star prize for this year’s Christmas Ball and to help raise awareness.  All funds raised will be used to give back to the families Little Hiccups supports in 2016, with the aim of enriching their lives and giving much needed support.

One of our specialist clinical negligence lawyer at Simpson Millar and Director/Trustee of Little Hiccups comments:

"This is a charity that is very close to my heart; I’ve seen first-hand not only the amazing work Little Hiccups does for families in and around Leeds, but also the huge difference a support group can have for my medical negligence clients - parents and children with special needs."

"Little Hiccups needs continues support to maintain the funds it needs to be able to keep providing this excellent service.”

Linsay Medica also commented:

“Our charity ball promises to be a fantastic night. Any funds raised will go straight into the continued support for parents who have children with special needs.”
