The Law Of... wrongly paying for healthcare

NHS Continuing Healthcare Funding is provided by the NHS for individuals with primary health needs and is available regardless of financial situation. In Wales, it was recently announced that you may be able to make a claim for care which has been wrongly paid for.

The Law Of... wrongly paying for healthcare

The announcement, which was made by the Welsh Government, relates to care received in Wales between 1st October 2014 and 30th October 2015.

It is an unfortunate reality that many vulnerable people and their families in Wales may have wrongly paid for care provided in this period.

The deadline for claims is 31st October 2016.

If you, or a loved one, have paid for care fees in Wales between 1st October 2014 and 30th October 2015 – now is the time to take action. You now have an opportunity to request a refund of fees paid during this time.
